RE: Long tavel in popup, need advice.

when I went to texas for a wedding, we left it hooked up. We pulled the bed out about half way and slept on the other bed and the dinette, dont know if that would suit you or not.

RE: Thoughts on stepping down to Pup

MPO is try wait for a good deal on a High wall..especially since you're downsizing. You'll appreciate the not folding the sink down and the extra head room. It is a reasonable deal, I would keep looking for now. Buy your last popup first.

RE: Good Sam Emergency Road Service Yes or No

Probably should start a new thread, but does it make sense to get ERS for a PUP?
Since it is a lightweight, towed trailer with an onboard spare, I really wouldn't consider it, execpt I just watched my BIL's PUP lose a wheel going down the highway (lugs all came out, wheel caught and burned through tire, then all the way off).
Other than that, what situations would make sense to have such service for a PUP?
IF something breaks , like your tow vehicle, they will take your camper to nearest campground to wait out repairs. Thumbs up for me!

RE: Fleetwood pup bathroom door

I know that the door is one unit, but it helps mine to slide it back to the hinge side alittle ...If I go too far the catch wont hit at all...I still say try sliding it back on the velcro some...It works for me.

RE: Thoughts on stepping down to Pup

I think the first highwall was my 2004 Fleetwood Hemlock, I have the cassette toilet and would not trade it for anything..throw it in the truck, drive to the dump station ,take it the top off, dump it, put water and chemical back in, take back to camper, lots less trouble than breaking in down. I use a blue boy for my grey water, not too much trouble there either, I love my pup, and this board!
